Cable Striping
Striping is the process of taking a solid color cable and applying a straight line or cylindrical stripe on the cable for identification. It aids in differentiating between two similar cables in the same tray or conduit. There are 12 primary colors for wire and cable, and if you require more than 12 different colors for your application, striping is utilized to create different color code options.

Cable Twisting
If you are running pulling conductors through the same area, instead of pulling them one at a time, you can twist them together to form a multi-conductor cable that can be utilized without a jacket. This value added service can save you time and money on your project.

Cable Dyeing
If you are ever in need of a particular color that isn’t manufactured, dyeing may solve your problem. Some cables are only manufactured in one color, take gray for example, but if you have multiple runs of the same cable, OmniCable can dye the cable so that it can easily be identified after running it through conduit.

Cable Lashing
Lashing is the process of taking any outdoor cable, usually a tray or instrumentation cable, and attaching it to a messenger wire so that it may be used in aerial applications. The messenger wire is what withstands all of the tension when a cable is used in an aerial application, so that the instrumentation or tray cable does not sag over time. At OmniCable, we typically use a 3/8″ or a 1/4″ messenger and lash it to various outdoor rated cables.

Cable Paralleling
At OmniCable, we offer cable paralleling as part of our world-class service. Paralleled cables have multiple runs on the same reel which helps you get the job done faster and easier.
