Hope Omni Cable Gives Back

Hope Partnership for Education is an independent middle school and adult education center serving Eastern North Philadelphia. It is endorsed and administered by members of the Society of the Holy Child Jesus and the Sisters of Mercy. OmniCable’s recent donation will be used to help fund the school’s operations as well as tuition scholarship support.

“We are excited to continue to help Hope Partnership for Education make a difference in our community, thanks to the hard work of our employee-owners,” saidSteve Glinski, OmniCable’s CFO and co-chair of the center’s finance committee.

OmniCable has been donating to Hope Partnership for Education for the past four years. The company’s past contributions have assisted in a number of the center’s projects and tuition assistance.

“The support that Hope Partnership receives from OmniCable is amazing! In fact, OmniCable’s aid under the state’s tax credit programs has helped educate more than 25 percent of our students through tuition scholarships. This has relieved a severe financial burden for 15 families that struggle to pay for their child’s education at Hope,” said Michele Burgh Lofton, Director of Development, Hope Partnership for Education.

In addition to corporate donations, Glinski and a number of OmniCable employees volunteer their time and skills to the center. “Steve volunteers his time serving on committees that oversee the continued growth of Hope’s education center. Hope Partnership for Education is so grateful to have such a committed partner in OmniCable,” said Burgh Lofton.

OmniCable plans to continue to support Hope Partnership for Education’s future endeavors and charitable efforts. For more information about Hope Partnership for Education visit www.hope-partnership.org.
